Cookie & Advertising Policy

This page explains the one third-party measurement tool on this site — the Meta (Facebook) pixel — what it collects, who receives the data, and how you can accept, decline or withdraw at any time.

What this policy covers

Kinetix Research uses a single third-party tracking tool: the Meta pixel, which helps us measure how visitors find this site through Meta services (Facebook and Instagram). Apart from your stored consent choice, the site does not use other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Your consent decision itself is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device so the site can remember it between visits. This storage happens regardless of your choice and contains only the decision, the approximate region it was made in, and the date.

What the pixel collects

When active, the pixel reports page views and standard technical information: the pages viewed and their web addresses, the referring site, timestamps, device and browser type, and an approximate country or region derived from your IP address. Kinetix Research does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or any information about anyone's health, and we do not enable advanced matching of form data.

Who receives the data

The data is received by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (for visitors in the European Economic Area) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States), under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. Meta acts as an independent controller of that data, and it may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.

Purposes

The pixel is used to measure visits that arrive from Meta advertising, to report on the performance of that advertising, and to improve and optimize future ads. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the legal basis for this processing is your consent, which we request through the consent banner before the pixel loads.

Your choices and withdrawal

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent banner on their first visit; the pixel stays off until they choose. Visitors elsewhere can use the same choice through "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully either way.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page. Withdrawing stops the pixel immediately for that browser, the refusal is kept on file, and future visits respect it until you change it.
